About Us
Connecting people, wildlife and nature.
Wilder Minds CIC was founded from a simple but powerful idea: time spent in nature can heal, inspire, and connect us — and that connection goes both ways. After running a wildlife rescue for several years, we saw first-hand how working alongside wildlife could improve people’s mental health, bringing calm, purpose, and a sense of belonging.
Becoming a parent in 2020 further reinforced this vision: taking my daughter to nature sessions opened my eyes to the joy, learning, and wellbeing benefits that outdoor experiences can offer, while also highlighting the barriers families face when these opportunities aren’t accessible or affordable.
From this, Wilder Minds CIC was born: a community-focused organisation dedicated to helping people reconnect with nature, learn alongside wildlife, and build skills, confidence, and wellbeing in a supportive environment.
